Mark Marrone, MD, is board-certified in nephrology and internal medicine. He sees patients at Hypertension Nephrology Associates, PC, located in Livonia, Michigan.
Dr. Marrone was born in New York, New York, and grew up in Northern New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College and earned his Medical Degree at the American University of the Caribbean. Subsequently, he performed his internship at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed his medical residency at St John’s Hospital in Detroit. He completed his fellowship in the field of nephrology at Wayne State University. In his final year of fellowship training, he was named Chief Nephrology Fellow.
Dr. Marrone is very active in the teaching program at Botsford General Hospital, where he has proudly been the recipient of four (4) Teacher of the Year awards. He was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the National Kidney Foundation from 2000-2003. Currently, he is a member of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), American College of Physicians (ACP), and American Medical Association (AMA). He is the Chief of Nephrology at Botsford Hospital and Medical Director of Fresenius Medical Services Botsford Dialysis Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Dr. Marrone’s greatest joy is sharing the knowledge and experience that he has developed over the years with the medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
