Crystal R. Gardner-Martin, MD, is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. She sees patients at Hypertension Nephrology Associates, PC in Livonia, Michigan.
Dr. Gardner-Martin was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois Hospital. She returned to Michigan in 1998 to complete her nephrology subspecialty training at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Gardner-Martin joined Hypertension Nephrology Associates, PC in 2000 and has been dedicated to improving medical care in the Detroit metropolitan area. She served as a member and chairperson of the St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital Internal Medicine/Family Practice Quality Assurance Committee, chairperson of the Medical Care Evaluation Committee, and member of the Medical Executive Board. She is presently the Medical Director of several Fresenius Kidney Care hemodialysis units.
Dr. Gardner-Martin has remained active in the teaching services at several hospitals and participates in community education through various community health fairs and service projects. Her special interests include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and lupus.
